Primary 6 have been working on Rainforest projects for homework. We made models, posters and even cakes!
We invited P2/1 to come and see our projects. We told them lots of interesting facts about the Rainforest and explained how we had made our projects. The children in P2/1 told us what they liked about our projects.
Primary 6 have been learning about the rainforest for our new topic. We have been put into groups and we made our own explorers that were going to the rainforest with Dr. Wilbur Jones. We have made our classroom into a rainforest with trees and animals. We have learned that there are lots of animals, waterfalls and plants in the rainforest. The rainforest is a huge place but the biggest one is in Brazil and it’s called the Amazon rainforest. There are lots of people living in the rainforest, over 200 million people. In art we made rainforest people with Mrs Millard.
