What does it do?

Notes is a simple app but it is packed with features which make it a solid choice for in class work. You can format text, create checklists, draw tables, and scribble or highlight using your finger or stylus. You can attach files, embed media like images and maps, share notes quickly with Airdrop and even collaborate and work together. There are security features to keep Notes locked and secure.

Why is it useful?

In a 1:1 or shared iPad environment Notes is a quick and easy place for pupils to record information in a variety of ways. When in another app users can swipe up diagonally from the bottom left corner to open a quick note where they can copy and paste information, type or draw – this will then save to their Notes app automatically. Perfect for quickly recording information. Notes can be added to re-organised at any time making the app an ideal candidate for a digital jotter.
