Scottish Poetry Competition

Our Scottish Poetry Competition is on Wednesday evening! Some of the pupils in Primary 7 have been chosen to represent Carronshore. Please watch our videos and tell us what you think!

Please be patient while it loads ….. and if it ‘sticks’ a bit, just push the wee arrow back to let it ‘catch up’! (poem number 3 will be added shortly)

  1. Hi Folks,
I love the poems you are reading them very clearly. The acting is pretty good too.
I am going to have to find out how to get these into school to show my class, we cannot see google video in school but they would love these.

  2. They were all super! How long did you rehearse them?
I can’t wait to show my P7s these so they can see how to act out their poems. Well done P7.

  3. Hi there this is Loren who recited the puddock poem (the bottom video), thanks for all your comments that you wrote. It only took me about a week to learn this poem and put some actions in. We will be competing against carron school on Wednesday the 28th of february, I am so scared!

I am glad you enjoyed the poems!

  4. By Lisa & Danni (a dug poem)

The first day we were given this poem we were all muddled up but by the 2nd time we knew the words off by heart. After that it was more acting we looked a. And from there we were progressing greatly!

SO WHAT DO YOU THINK NOW????

  5. Hello Primary 7V
We think you are very clever!
We loved your acting as you said the poems.
How did you go on the big night? Were you happy with your performances, were you nervous, and did everyone clap you when you finished?
We would love to know how you got on.
