Please speak with your child’s head teacher if you feel your child is having difficulty with:
- Learning and general development
- Reading, writing, spelling and numbers
- Emotions and behaviour
- Making good relationships with other children and adults
The head teacher may arrange for you to meet with the member of staff responsible for Additional Support for Learning (ASL) to talk about your child’s needs.
The ASL teacher and your child’s class teacher will agree how to support your child’s learning and behaviour development.
When your child’s needs are more complex, further meetings and a Coordinated Support Plan may be needed.
