Hot Rock

Tonight we were climbing and abseiling at Rosyth Quarry, an unused Dolerite  quarry. It’s urban so has graffiti and some rubbish but it’s a good venue for an evening session. After 7pm twenty climbers were climbing about the quarry. We had it to ourselves from 4pm till then. The rock was hot to touch and burning till 6.10 when the sun went over the top and the Haar was lingering form earlier in the day and some of the group were chilly.
