PE5

My favourite part was when we were doing grids, microbits and Science. Our science was so funny because we had to look through pretend poo and see what was in it. The microbits were so fun beacase we listened to music and played games.

Next term I’d like to learn about animals and more Science.

We have reached the end of Term 3 already! Wow!

This afternoon we took the time to look back at the past term, our highlights and discussing what we would like to do next term.

We had Science last week and it was really gross! We were learning about how we could find out what people from the Past ate and how they lived.

It was really slimey and gooey and it had sweetcorn and peas in it. There were even lentils.

I loved it!

Last week we were looking at poop from the past so our teacher MrsMacGillivray brought a pretend piece of poop! The poop was so smelly and it had sweetcorn in it! It also had lentils like those that go in your lentil soup! Then we got some lolly pop sticks to excavate and see what was in the poop!

Guess what?

In Forres our team came second!

 My place was 11th against p 5, 6 and 7s from all over scotland I thought our team did really well!

On Monday we went to the Power Station. First we went to the sub station then we started to draw outside.

After that we played games and learnt facts about how they use Science in their work.

We went realy high in the Power Station then we went back on the bus and ate our lunch.

We went to Liniclate for Cross Country on Friday 1st March. We had to run around the machair then run around the Dark Island pitch then all the way back.

But it was fine because we had Shaun MacDonald for us to follow until the end of course. He was acting like a pacemaker.

On Saturday the 17th of March multiple pupils from Balivanich school will be attending the Flora MacDonald Competition.

We have all worked especially hard for this competition with help from Esther.

To celebrate British Science Week this week we are investigating how Science is used in our local community through the world of work!

Classes will be going on trips out into different workplaces as well as inviting visitors in to tell us about how Science is used in their jobs!

On Tuesday there was a Fairtrade bake-off.

We had to make a cookie! I boasted “our cookie is going to win!” Mitchell said” our cookie should be called Double chocolate Deluxe”

Mrs Graham declared “this next cookie was very classy!” She was talking about ours!!

Then Mrs Graham annouced “there are two winners”

The winners were our class and Mrs Mackays class! I said “We won!”
