This year in room 8 we have had 3 new pupils joining us called Alexia, Naiara and Max.

Alexia is in primary 5 and is 9 years old, she is smart and good at maths and she is a nice person and is very helpful.

Naiara is in primary 2 and is 6 years old, she is very nice and is a good friend to have and her favourite animal is a panda.

Max is in primary 1 and is very friendly.

Fing is the new book by David Walliams. We have read. It is about a little girl who wants every thing and gets everything but there is one thing she doesn’t have which is Fing. I think it was funny because myrtle’s parents have to literally pic her up.

I have achieved my blue belt at the grading last week.it was very hard but lots of fun.The examiner name was Trevor he was very nice. He has won loads of world wide championships. Continue reading Blue belt →

Mr Banks came in to speak to us about our topic.He showed us a PowerPoint about houses through time.

He showed us a lot of photos of different houses.

In Room 8 we have been making a model of church out of  Balsa wood with Mrs Mac Vicar before p5-7 have French. We had been studying the buildings of worship of different religions.

I got the star of the week for being a good student and good punches.

In class we’ve been reading a book called Diary of a Brilliant Kid.

In the book it lists a set of rules for Cool Kids, rule 5 was to make sure we are grateful for the things we already have.

We made a Gratitude Quilt on what we are grateful for.

In Room 8 our topic is all about Electricity and Houses in the past, present and future. At the moment we are doing work on houses and yesterday we went on a walk and tally marked the amount of different houses we saw.

Here are some pictures of us on the walk. When we all got back into school we made a bar graph chart on Education City of our results.
