Welcome to our blog. We hope to be posting on this blog each day of the trip to let you know what we are up to each day.
Final preparations are well underway and I hope pupils are looking forward to the week ahead. I’m hoping for a calm ferry crossing and comfortable seats on the coach. The recent weather on Lewis has been fantastic but with a long coach journey ahead, I’m hoping for slightly cooler temperatures. Happy packing to all pupils and parents. You can find a copy of the packing list on the Dearne Valley Centre website – follow the link and look at in the parents’ section of the site. You will also find a sample menu and other useful information.
Hello, hope you all had a good journey yesterday and an enjoyable day today. Tell Katie her Mum says hi!

Lewis is still enjoying sunshine – and so are we!
The water levels in the lochs are dropping. In Arnol a boat with sharp teeth painted on the front has been revealed and we have been able to pick up lots of broken glass discarded over years?
I really write to encourage Angus. Well done coping with pain and strange hospitals so far from home. Enjoy all the activities when you are ready but don\\\’t push yourself too hard!! (I have to say that – I\\\’m your mother!)The S1\\\’s are enjoying peaceful lunches without you but we all look forward to your safe return. xx
