Children are learning how to network the microbits. The microbits can connect through Bluetooth and radio networks meaning that you can send messages and play games between then them.
Some of the children had set up radio groups to talk to each other on different channels.
The Tuesday is internet safety day! The children have looked at many ways to stay safe online this year so it’s a chance to reflect on the many ways to stay safe when using the internet.

P6 created a rock scissor paper game using the microbits. They have an accelerometer inside them which detects movement. The children coded for a random number to be chosen when the device is shaken and either rock scissors or paper is displayed.
Much excitement about using spheros! We will be using these as part of our coding sessions over the next few weeks.
ICT reps have been looking at the VR headsets and discussing how to keep themselves safe while using them. They have agreed that this info should be delivered to all classes.
P4.1 are learning how to stay safe online. They have been using Thinkyouknow.co.uk to learn about sharing pictures, making friends and gaming. They now understand the dangers of being online and the key steps to keep them self safe.
P4 have then created a created a Google slide showing what they have learned.
