September Showcase

What an amazing turn out at last night’s September showcase! D&T were delighted to welcome so many families into our department to see what we have to offer! 💚

S2 Box Project

Young STEM Leader Ambassador Awards 2021-22

The D&T department would like to congratulate our S6 pupils on their achievement of securing their Young STEM Ambassador Leadership Award.

The group have put in a commendable effort throughout the last academic year, working closely with our departmental Engineering Club through various design and engineering tasks.

Keep an eye out for updates in August…
Join us on a Tuesday after school to explore the design and manufacture of bespoke Jewellery pieces. Working in a range of materials and learning new techniques such as piercing, polishing and soldering. Keep what you make to show off and give as gifts. Get your name down quick as places will be limited!

DAT Robotics Club: FLL Scottish Finals

Our S1/2 pupils in the DAT Robotics Club successfully secured their position at the FIRST LEGO League Scottish National Final in Dundee.

The team worked so hard all year to ensure they were able to complete as many missions as they could when in the robot game. They left the competition with an amazing score of 225pts! They also spent many hours as a team developing their innovation project to present to the panel of judges. All pupils really showcased our school values & the FLL core values on the day.
