Primary Projects

Williamwood High School & Busby Primary School:  

2015:

The Design and Technology department within Williamwood High School are working along with the pupils of Busby Primary undertaking a Curriculum for Excellence 3D prinitng project. Pupils from the primary start by designing personalised keyrings before coming to Williamwood. Once here, pupils learn skills in 3D modelling and produce a 3D model of their keyring, using industry standard software. Pupils finally 3D print the designs. This project allows pupils to fully understand and experience the nature of design and manufacture. Have a look at what the pupils achieved below.

2012:

The Design and Technology department within Williamwood High School worked along with the pupils of Busby Primary during a Curriculum for Excellence wild west project. Within this project the pupils had to design, model and manufacture their own tepee’s and wigwam’s within their groups. This involved first level CfE experiences and outcomes.
