The BICT department will recognise achievement across all year groups. A set of qualities have been identified which we believe demonstrate excellence. These are: 

Effort, Motivation, Organisation, Behaviour, Relationships, Timekeeping, Acts of kindness.

Teachers will nominate pupils who are already displaying the qualities, or are showing evidence of working towards excellence. Pupils are then eligible for an award.

During December and March we will also be introducing an Excellence Award.

This young person will have repeatedly made a positive impact within our faculty, they will have shown kindness, made improvements in their learning and will have displayed commitment to their work.

This will be carried out during the following times.

• Week beginning 12 December 2022
• Week beginning 20 March 2023

The ‘Excellence’ Award will be more formal and successful pupils will receive a certificate and a faculty badge.  This achievement will be updated on the faculty website/twitter and displayed on the achievement notice board in our corridor.
