The Friday afternoon group completed their All about me expressive,

mixed media artwork.

The children weeded the garden and began some planting activities. They managed to measure the correct distance between each bulb and the correct depth for each bulb.

Science: The children were interested in chemical reactions. They looked at acids and alkalis. They hypothesised that as an acid, vinegar Would react chemically and break down the shell of an egg.

Within a few seconds they observed the acid reacting with the carbon  calcumate in the shell to produce Carbon dioxide bubbles. They left it for 48 hours to  see react.

How many straws can stick together and I can still suck liquid.
