This week children have been focusing on Growth Mindset.

They set targets for the week.

They have challenged themselves to Try new activities or try harder tasks.

They learned that it is okay to make mistakes and that the brain is a muscle that has to be exercised.

The cress we planted last week grew exceptionally well!

Floating and sinking:

Firework poems using onomatopoeia:

We read a Growth Mindset book and used AR to bring the images to life!

Outdoor learning. Exploring the environment for natural resources to add to our fireworks inspired transient art. 

It doesn’t go there!

Continuing the firework theme:

We learned all about the problem of  litter from our house captains during the online assembly this week.

Learning to put  musical notes Together to create a tune.

We used Chrome music lab to create music using digital technology. The focus of the lesson was rhythm.
