Celebrating the Winter Olympics & Paralympics β„οΈβ›Έβ›·πŸ‚πŸ₯‡

As part of our IDL topic we have been learning all about the sports involved in the Winter Olympics and comparing them with the sports carried out in the Summer Olympics. The children worked in pairs to research a chosen sport and find out certain facts about it. Β They worked cooperatively to complete the task and shared their learning with their class mates by presenting and reporting on their findings. The children achieved many talking and listening skills in the process and kept to task throughout. We even had our very own curling competition and the children had great fun learning a new skill and taking part in a team game with their peers. Our Young People are our champions who are certainly worthy of a GoldΒ medal for all of their achievements! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
