All levels of the award see young people completing three sections in their own time. Click on each section below for a list of activity ideas.

These sections are completed on the online eDofe system. Young people are expected to spend roughly an hour on each section each week. They then upload a piece of text evidence describing the activities they took part in.

Once they meet the minimum requirements they have their section completed by an assessor, this can be anyone who is able to confirm their progress. It can however, not be any direct family member.

At St Ninian’s all participants are placed in their expedition groups (7 young people) at the start of the year. Every group is assigned a staff or young leader who will help them through the process.

Bronze expeditions run during Study Leave in April and May. More information can be found on the Bronze Expeditions page.
