November/A Bit of December P7A Class blog

This month has been a very exciting  month for P7A as a lot has been happening.

Yesterday we had our Christmas fun day and the whole school had a great time with the reindeer, bouncy castle, hot chocolate and fun activities in the hall. We also are preparing our Advent assembly which will be available for all of the parents to watch. We also made little Christmas tree decorations to sell at our Christmas fayre. We raised a lot money for the school.

During RE lessons have been working on our Confirmation/Faith Power Points and presenting them to the class, we also are doing our Confirmation/Faith posters. We wrote a letter to Bishop John explaining the reasons for choosing our Saints.

In Maths the Circles and Squares have been working on calculating distance, speed and time. The Triangles have been learning about calculating time and 12/24 hour clock. As always we have been loving active maths and problem solving.

As November is the Month of Remembrance, we had a service from Canon Eddie and remembered all those who we love that we have lost.

In the forest, we had to design and build a raft and then see if it would float down the stream. We loved this task and had so much fun!

We hope you have enjoyed reading our November blog, tune in next time to see what we get up to in December!

Miss Igoe and P7A 🙂
