Magical Maths

So far in Primary 6, we have learned about fractions, time and also done some revision of the four operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). Mrs. Glancey has introduced us to some really fun new Maths games, too! Our favourites are Corners, Harry Potter Maths, and Killer 11 – you even get a trophy if you win!

It’s Maths Week Scotland from Sept 28th – Oct 4th and to tie in with this, there is a Sumdog competition running across all of Scotland for students and you have to answer 1000 questions! You have to try to answer as many questions correctly as possible.

This week, we have started to focus on new topics within Maths. The Circles group are working on decimals, the Squares group are working on rounding and the Triangles group are working on 3-dimensional shapes.
