Creativity Courses

At Glasgow Clyde College, our HND Graphic Design & Creative Technologies course helps students turn creativity into practical, employable skills.

This isn’t just art for the sake of it — it’s about learning how to:

  • Design for real-world industries (branding, advertising, digital media)
  • Build a professional portfolio (what employers and universities actually look for)
  • Develop problem-solving and creative thinking skills that apply across many careers

It’s ideal for students who:

  • Enjoy Art, Graphic Communication, or Design & Manufacture
  • Like being creative and thinking things through
  • Want a clear next step after school into creative industries or further study

Many of our students go on to:

  • Study for the BA Hons with us here at the college or with another University
  • Get a job in design, media, and digital industries either with an agency or freelance.
  • Work across different media such as TV and Publishing (traditional & digital)
  • Set up their own design studio
