The Apprenticeship:
The Chubb Apprenticeship Programme is a 24-month apprenticeship which will give you hands-on experience in the Claims and Underwriting Operations Teams, spending 12 months in each area.
The programme combines 20% structured learning with 80% on-the-job training; with opportunities in both underwriting operations and claims, you’ll build a strong foundation for a career in these areas and beyond.
Your rotations:
Underwriting Operations: In this department you will support underwriting teams to deliver great client service. You’ll take ownership of key tasks, including: recording insurance risks, managing bookings and preparing policy documents. You’ll also find changes that can be made to improve efficiency.
Claims: In this rotation, you will discover what happens behind the scenes after an incident. You’ll help in delivering Chubb’s claims strategy, work with clients and make sure claims are handled efficiently.

Who can apply:
You don’t need to have any experience in insurance, just a willingness to embrace new challenges and develop your skills.
- Minimum of grade C achieved in all Scottish Highers.
- Must have passed Mathematics and English National 4/5.
- Strong skills in written and spoken English.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Works well in groups and has a drive to learn.
