Scottish Apprenticeship Week – Day 5
As Scottish Apprenticeship Week comes to an end I wanted to remind you that most apprenticeship opportunities can be found on the apprenticeship.scot website.
New opportunities are added every day, so it’s a great idea to check back regularly and stay up to date with what’s available.
Now is the perfect time to start thinking about the skills and qualities that make a great apprentice:
Being motivated
Eager to learn,
Ready to work as part of a team.
If you’re starting to think about applications, make sure you also check out the My World of Work website.
It provides you with lots of helpful resources, especially the CV builder, which makes creating your first CV so much easier.
A strong CV can help you stand out when applying for apprenticeships, so take advantage of these tools and sell yourself to anyone who reads it !!
If you need any support with getting started on your CV or applying for an apprenticeship, Mrs McIntosh, our DYW Support Officer is here to help.
