Reid’s are a well established Chartered Quantity Surveying Practice in Glasgow City Centre and are actively seeking school leavers who would be interested in a traineeship.

The successful candidate will be enrolled on the part time BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying at Glasgow Caledonian University for one day a week with the remainder of the week employed in our office.

The practice has a structured training programme for staff leading to RICS Professional Qualification.

We would suggest that any prospective candidate refer to Glasgow Caledonian University Undergraduate entry requirements for the BSC (Hons) in Quantity Surveying part time course prior to submitting a CV.

Brief Description

Quantity Surveying is an integral part of the design development and construction process and provide key advice in construction costs, contract law and project management.

This opportunity would also suit a variety of candidates contemplating or expressing an interest in Civil/ Structural Engineering and Accounting, as those skill sets are similar to those of Quantity Surveying.
