- Take the time to read the job specifications and be clear on the role you are applying for- for example an electrician role is a marine electrician not a domestic electrician and our joiners work mainly with metal not wood.

- When completing the online tests, take the time to read all instructions fully ensuring you are clear on what is being asked. Try not to panic with the timings. On average there is 6 minutes to complete each test.
- Make use of the word count on your application form, try and give as much detail as possible as to why you are interested in the role.
