The Glasgow Colleges and West College Scotland invite you to a Foundation Apprenticeships Information Evening. – Wednesday 17th February 6:30pm
We would like to invite you to attend The Foundation Apprenticeships Information Evening on Wednesday, 17th February at 6:30pm. The event will include a live presentation from Tracey Parker representing Glasgow Kelvin College, City of Glasgow College and Glasgow Clyde College and Katrina Maxwell representing West College Scotland to inform parents/carers and young people about the Foundation Apprenticeship opportunities available to East Renfrewshire pupils.
Foundation Apprenticeships are a work-based learning opportunity for senior-phase secondary school pupils. You will spend time out of school at college or with a local employer, and complete the Foundation Apprenticeship alongside your other subjects like National 5s and Highers. It’s a chance to get valuable work experience and gain an industry recognised qualification. It also lets you try out a career you are interested in while you’re still at school.
The evening will conclude with a live Question & Answer session.
