S5 pupils: Sutton Trust Summer Schools, 5th – 10th July
In Partnership with the Sutton Trust, University of Glasgow offers a week-long residential summer school aimed at high school students in their penultimate year of study. Successful applicants from around the UK will attend lectures and seminars, take part in stimulating activities around campus, and explore the city of Glasgow with their fellow scholars.
Students will be introduced to the variety of academic areas that can be studied at university in Scotland. Additionally, all students complete an online Academic Skills module designed to prepare for the transition to Higher Education. Completion of this module will be taken into consideration upon application to the university and can form part of an adjusted offer of entry.

You will require a reference from your Pastoral teacher (deadline 6th March). You must inform them and provide at least 1 week’s notice.
