Modern Apprentice Hairdresser
The Cutting Room Hair Salon in Newton Mearns are looking to recruit a full time Hairdressing Apprentice to assist their experienced stylist in all aspects of the work that they do which can include: colouring, cutting or styling hair. In most cases they will be assisting but for more experienced apprentices or those that show promise the stylist will allow them to administer treatment under their supervision.
Shampooing clients hair
Looking after clients.
Keeping the salon tidy and clean
Assisting on the front desk
Maintaining equipment and stock
Carry out simple hair treatments
Undergo ‘on the job’ colour and/or cutting training
Days off from the salon to attend college: either Tuesday or Wednesday
Day release at college: one day per week
Qualification: SVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing
