Primary 6 digital leaders led their own coding club at lunchtime today, for some P1 and P2 pupils.
They had a fantastic time!
Thank you so much to Marcus, Matthew R, Matthew B and Maaz for sharing your knowledge with the boys and girls today. They loved it!
Well done Primary 1 and 2, you did a super job
Miss Gavin
Today, we were learning about and practising our bar graphs. Each group created a question, collected answers using tally marks, and created a bar graph using cubes! The questions were:
We had great fun doing this!
Today in P2a, we gave out lots of different certificates! It was wonderful to celebrate everyone’s hard work and show how much our achievements mean to us !
Well done everyone!
Primary 2b have had a wonderful day back at school.
They have really enjoyed this sunny afternoon outdoors. They read the Stickman story and then used outdoor materials to create their own Stickmen.
Well done Primary 2b, fantastic stick men. It was so lovely to see you all back in school
Super stickmen P2b
Well done!
What a great party we had!
Today in class, Primary 2b carried out an experiment to create a magic potion.
We learned that mixing together certain substances can cause a chemical reaction. We mixed bicarbonate of soda, fairy liqud, food colouring and vinegar to create a fizzing and foaming explosion.
Take a look at our experiment below.
Happy Halloween!
In Primary 2a we have been researching volcanoes as our social studies topic. In addition to this, we have used this topic to link different areas of learning together. For example, we used volcanoes to help us with our spelling words, writing tasks and our ongoing art display. We also worked together in teams to recreate the scene of a volcanic eruption. It has been great fun!
In P2c we love to develop our skills in lots of areas of the curriculum during independent learning time.
Primary 2b have been learning about shades of colour.
Today, we did a colour hunt, around the classroom, to find as many yellow things as we could.
We are learning to identify various shades within a colour.
Well done Primary 2b! You have worked very hard today.
