Forest School yesterday was so much fun!

We worked in teams to tie knots and build waterproof shelters, it was a huge success

Mr Farrell taught the boys and girls how to safely tie knots  

Another Make Your Mark Signature Learning Experience achieved

We then all enjoyed using our imagination and creativity skills having some time to free play

Last week we enjoyed a range of activities for Book Week Scotland

We each brought in our favourite book and got to share it with the rest of the class

We played book bingo and had the chance to ask our classmates about their reading habits

We designed alternative front covers for our favourite book and finally we enjoyed plenty of ERIC time

Over the last few weeks, we have been learning about sources of energy and the pros and cons of non renewable and renewable energy. We linked our learning to Climate Change and this week we created posters for a “Walk to School” campaign.

Today we achieved another one of our make your mark signature learning experiences by making waterproof shelters .
