P5a 2024/2025

This week for writing, in groups we created our problem for our narrative and even acted this out for our peers!

This morning, as part of our narrative writing we created an orientation for our story. We worked in groups to share our ideas and up level our sentences. Well done p4!

We had a great morning this morning at our Fishy Music Workshop. We learnt some new songs and even got to make up our own lyrics!

In Science, our topic is ‘The Human Body’. This week we have been learning about the different organs. We listened to information, completed our tasks then took our learning outside to work with our peers.

Following on from our mini east hunt, we then researched different habitats animals may live in. Each group looked at a different habitat and shared what they have learnt with the rest of the class! Well done P4 for helping each other learn!

We enjoyed participating in a mini beast hunt. We discussed the different minibeasts we found and the habitats they lived in.

We loved having some of our parents in for our ‘Come Learn with Me’ afternoon. We shared some information about ‘World Earth Day’ and our current topic, ‘Life on Land’. Thanks to everyone who joined us!

As part of our topic, ‘Life on Land’. We mapped the habitat around the school. First we went outside and observed what is within our habitat, then we created our maps, using our key to help us.

Today during our gymnastic lesson, we focussed on making balances. We worked in pairs to think of 5 balances and how long we would hold each for then presented to our peers. Great work P4a!
