Week Beginning 19th May

We’ve had a creative week in school this week. Starting on Monday in drama by creating new versions of Little Red Riding Hood. On Tuesday during our writing lesson, we hen took these ideas and created plans for our own narrative piece of writing.

On Wednesday, the timetable change has meant we get Art with Mrs McIntyre until the end of the year!

In music, we performed our compositions on the xylophone for Mrs Carey.

In maths, we have been learning about scale drawings, well done TJ for being the teacher today and explaining to your peers your reasons so coherently! ❤️
We used the trundle wheels to measure areas of the play ground and created scale drawing in our jotters. Then we learned how to use the protractors to create accurate squares and rectangles.

Lots of teamwork, imagination and creativity on display!
