Week Beginning 12th May
As it’s Mental Health Week this week, in our Health and Wellbeing lessons we have been learning about what we can do when we are feeling worried about something and also who who can help us when we are finding things challenging.
We identified what has ‘shaken our branches’ and who helped us through those times and then we identified what strategies we could use to help ourselves or others us when our branches are shaken again.
On Tuesday and Thursday, we continued our Narrative writing lessons. We wrote the Series of Events for the story of Little Red Riding Hood from the point of view of the wolf! Who knew the wolf was actually lost in the woods and frightened of a little girl! Well done for such imaginative ideas everyone!
In maths, we learned how to calculate the size of an angle using a protactor! We can now measure acute angles and obtuse angles.
On Thursday, we used microbits with Mrs Guy in Digital Technologies.
Today was our last session of Judo. It has been a fabulous two weeks trying judo. Learning to have fun and stay safe. There are lots of photos of both sessions on Google Classroom.
