This morning P5 have been busy taking part in a Lego Challenge!!
First, we identified the challenge and our resources.
Our challenge was to build a sturdy bridge with Lego to get 2 cars over the river.
The bridge had to be 10cm tall and be strong enough to hold 2 cars.
Then we worked in groups to plan how we would complete the challenge.
Next we got to work building a bridge using the Lego bricks. We had one hour to complete the challenge.
We tested our bridges to see if they would hold 2 cars.
Finally, we reflected on our bridge made adjustments and looked for ways we could improve if we did this again.
The skills we used during the challenge were collaborating, adapting, focusing, using our initiative, communicating as well as being considerate of other peoples feelings and using our critical thinking skills to be creative and solve the problem. Lots of skills were being developed!!
