Primary 7a 23/24

Thanks to our Active Schools coach Rachel for providing some fun sessions that helped us work together as a team and develop some skills we can use whilst leading the P1s.

This week we have been learning about Gravitational Force. We were also learning how to measure it using Newton Balance Scales.

Jack has been hugely inspired by reading The Nowhere Emporium and has started to write his own alternative version called The Anywhere Emporium. Keep bringing in any work you’ve been pursuing at home, boys and girls.

We have been learning about line graphs and today we have decided to take a step further and not just do it on paper but do it digitally. Here is one example… Our trend shows that it’s going to be a very rainy week in Barrhead.

Today we were taught Ceilidh dancing by S5s from St Luke’s. We will continue to do this next week. We will have a big ceilidh with the other pupils who are going to St. Luke’s from the local schools around Christmas time. 😁

Today we were experimenting with electrostatic force using balloons.

A huge P7a well done to Emilie who is our latest Student of the Week. Emilie takes her time to understand tasks fully and always shows perseverence and a “can do” attitude. Proud of you!
