Today we performed our Nativity play in front of the whole school and everyone had a great time. Mrs Fitzsimmons was very proud of us and we are excited to perform for our family and friends tomorrow.

It’s that time of the year again. The temperature is dropping, the nights are getting earlier and the snow can’t be far away. What a great excuse to curl up at home and share a great book. Here are a few of our favourite Christmas books to ask Santa for this year or visit your local library.

Or why not try a just released book as you new Christmas tradition.

This week’s homework is whole school homework again, focusing on Modern Languages. In P2 we are learning French with the help of our French visitor Camembear.

To promote Technologies, and Digital Technology in particular, this week’s homework will be set using Education City. Education City can be accessed through the Education City website and login using the username and password glued into the rear cover of the Home Learning jotter.
From the home page the French homework can be accessed in the Homework section.

Comments Off on Successes and Achievements
This week’s whole school homework will be coming home today in homework folders. The focus this week is on P2’s Successes and Achievements both at school and home. We will need help from family members to list recent achievements from this school year.
Please continue to read at home every day, either your class storybook or something of your choosing. To help with reading at home, we have also included a Reading Challenge sheet that should be completed throughout the remainder of the school term.

A fantastic map showing the route to school from home.
Lily Rose did some stargazing on the way to swimming lessons.
Maya did a traffic survey, using tally marks to count all the vehicles that passed in front of her house. She discover that cars are the most popular vehicle.
Erin took some pebbles from her garden and painted them to look like a bee, a bird and a ladybird.
