The Journey of Food

We had a great time learning all about the digestive system and the journey food takes through our bodies. Things got a little messy!

First we broke the food down in our mouths:

Then, we squeezed it down and into our stomachs:

It was a little too disgusting for some:

Next, the food moved into our intestines:

It continued being squeezed all the way through the intestines. Again, a little disgusting for some:

Finally, the undigested food left our bodies…

We had so much fun and learned lots about our digestive systems!

P3a spoke about how much they loved reading and renovated their class library. The boys and girls first chose the books they would like to keep in their library. They then showed their fantastic knowledge of different types of books, first organising them into fiction and non-fiction then by genre. What a great job!
