Primary 7a 23/24

We’ve found in P5 that it’s so much fun when two people have the same book to read for pleasure. The conversations that Callum and Keira are able to have are fantastic. Why not think about buddying up with a friend and read a book together.

We’ve loved observing what impact different conditions have on the rusting process over time! Some of our chemical reaction predictions even came true!

In Primary 5 we have been trying to read as much as we can and love talking about what super books we’re reading. These seven people even  went to the library over the long weekend!  Wooooooooohoooooooooooooooooo!

We continued on with our Languages Week Scotland learning today! Olivia spoke about her massive interest in Portuguese. Anna told us a bit about Poland and Polish culture. Ross explained a little about the Korean he has learned through Taekwando. How impressive!

This week it’s been wonderful to celebrate and explore the various languages and cultures of our p5 pupils. We’ve been taught some Urdu and Swahili amongst many others. We’ve also heard about apps like Duolingo being used by our pupils to discover new languages! Wow!

Today we learnered more about chemical reactions . We learned that we always have to do fair tests. We’re doing an investigation into the conditions that make a nail rust. Blog by Brooke

We really enjoyed sharing ideas prior to starting our writing time this week. Our main focus has been using setting to engage our readers.  We will keep editing and improving to create vivid descriptions.
