Primary 7a 23/24

Today we were looking for worms and were learning to categorise the different kinds we found. We learned what a vital role worms play in nature!

A huge congratulations to Ross who is our most recent Student of the Week in P5a. Our focus for the final term’s award has been homework and Ross has worked hard achieve good presentation and he always hands things in on time too. You’re such a responsible learner, Ross! Keep going!

Today we went to the forest for the very first  time with Mrs Carwood. We climbed trees and used the hammock ,swung around and even made our own chocolate company. It was very fun and at the end we sang some campfire songs. Blog by Brooke.

We have been trying to read as much as we can because once we have read a really good book we can add it on to the reading passport and feel a sense of achievement. We are trying to fill up the whole reading passport before August. We are nearly finished! Keep reading everyone! Blog by Brooke.

Our most recent recipient of the Student of the Week award is Chloe! Chloe always displays an amazing attitude to homework – and especially online homework on Google Classroom. She is a great example of being diligent and taking responsibility for your own learning! Proud of you, Chloe!

For Mental Health Awareness Week we will be undertaking some tasks that will hopefully help us to be grateful for the good things in our lives, as well as encouraging us to be kind to others. We are going to attempt an Undercover Kindness project where we receive a random name of a peer and aim to make a positive difference in that person’s week. We’ll also keep adding things to our Box of Gratitude on our class altar.

P5a really enjoyed their trip to The Mitchell Library and Kelvingrove to explore the idea of Scotland’s Story!

Stacy and Michael have been two of our most recent recipients of the Student of the Week Award! Our onward is handed out on a Friday to those pupils who have made an extra special effort with homework, either to improve content, presentation or even their creativity of attention to detail. Way to go you two! We’re all proud of you!
