Jack has used his wonderful creativity and love for Diary of a Wimpy Kid to start his own cartoon diary book at home!What an amazing way to ‘Make your Mark!’ Keep going! 😊

Today during Outdoor Learning we learned how to safely whittle sticks using potato peelers. Some children also enjoyed creating wild flower arrangements. Brilliant curiosity as well as talking and listening skills today everyone!

Well done to Maya who received a Blue Peter Badge in the mail this weekend for the brilliant poem and drawing she made about the Blue Peter dog Henry. Congratulations Maya!

This year we have been reading a fabulous book called “The Boy at the back of the class.” Today we all got split in to groups and each group got a character to focus on. We thought about their identities. We had to draw them and write some facts about them from the book so far. We’ll keep adding to it! It was very fun! Blog by Brooke.

Wow! Look at what Erin has created at the sewing club she has attended! What an amazing lifelong skill to have. If you have created anything outside of school, be sure to bring it in guys.

Thanks to the most recent leaders of our weekly whole class Book Chats! You’re inspiring your classmates each week. Why not pop to the Barrhead library this week if you haven’t been in a while? 

After group tasks we like to take the time to compliment each other and focus on the positives from each session. It’s not easy for everyone to work in big groups sometimes but we get better and more confident with each experience!

Which one of these fairy houses is your favourite? A really fun and creative outdoor learning time! We have sent the videos to P1 in a Google Form to see which one is their favourite. We’ll make a graph out of the results from the vote using Google Sheets and see which one was the most popular! You’re all winners though, boys and girls! Such confident communicators and creators.
