Today we completed mixed media self portraits and celebrated ourselves as unique individuals. We focused on proportions and came up with some impressive results!

We are al so excited to get started on our P7 journey!

What a wonderful morning we had at forest schools learning how to build a campfire 🔥 The children learned lots of new safety skills and had the best time!

 Formake £5 grow we had to make Presentations to  tell everybody our products and how much they would cost . We had people doing face painting,loom bands  and drinks etc!

For our class trip we went to the People’s palace to learn all about the siwingn’ 60’s we went to a fun workshop and we even got to act out some scenes that might have happened.

But we can’t forget the fun times at the park.

Today we worked in our business groups to present our projects and ideas to create and sell to our school community.  We had to include all of our coatings and price our items. We all used our enterprise skills to contribute to our group efforts. The business plans are very exciting and we can’t wait to try out all of our ideas on Sports Day……we will keep you posted with more details nearer the event but be sure to bring your pennies 😁👍

We had the most wonderful time yesterday exploring our local environment during our Forest School session. Mr Farrell taught us how to do a clove hitch and use the skill of lashing to construct a tpee shelter. We had to work collaboratively, listen well, solve problems and take risks! The free play was a great way to allow the children to explore and use their imaginations. Which they did beautifully. 🌺

Today we were learning about Spanish. We focussed on listening and talking with Miss Paterson and we had a go at guessing the meaning of some words. For example: siesta fiesta , amigo and flor etc. We all loved it, especially Elena!
