Inspired by our visit to the library yesterday and our Read, Write, Count bags, we have decided to focus on reading for enjoyment in Primary 2.

The children are being encouraged to read something they really enjoy at home and share their experience with the rest of the class. This can be a picture book, comic or chapter book. Fiction or non-fiction, just as long as it sparks their interest and they enjoy reading it.

Once they’ve shared their book with the class we can add it to our bookshelf and hopefully soon our shelves will be groaning with lots of amazing books.
