Last month, during his visit were he talked to Primary 2 about Fairtrade, Mr Mariner set the children a task.  He asked them to design their very own Fairtrade chocolate bar wrapper and made the task a competition.

Yesterday, we announced the winner of that competition and it was Lilly Rose of Primary 2a.  Well done Lilly Rose!

Lilly Rose worked very hard on her design and in fact this is the second design competition this school year that she has done very well in. She received a commendation in the East Renfrewshire Council school’s road safety calendar competition and we agreed when one of the other children said that “Lilly Rose could be a world famous artist.”
