It’s been so inspiring to witness the way that increased ‘book talk’ in our class has got the children excited and energised, not only reading, but WRITING too. Some of our children are now creating texts of their own in their spare time. They are adding to them bit by bit which is fantastic since we know that writing is most certainly a process!
