Following on from our Living/Non-living lesson, we decided to sort animals into categories. We had to decide on the best categories to represent our animal.
First, we sorted them into the categories Water, Flying and Land but then we decided “Chickens can fly!”
Then, we changed them to Water, Wings and Land and decided that they were a better fit.
We then decided to mix the animals up again and have another go. This time we tried the categories Wild and Tame.
We thought that “cats can be both wild and tame,” so we placed them in the middle.
