This week we were recording our observations of our plants. Our tests involve some with fertiliser, some without and some with light and some deprived of light.
STEM – Planet Earth
This week we continued with our scientific enquiry by investigating the impact of fertiliser on plants.
Building Mini Dens
At Forest School we were challenged to build a mini den using only natural materials from the forest. Thanks to our teamwork and creativity we were successful and even passed the dreaded waterproof test.
We also had a furry friend join us for the day.
Hunting for Worms
Our second week at Forest School, we began to explore some of the wildlife in the area. We learned to identify different types of worms and had a great time hunting for them.
Exploring the Forest
We loved our first week of Forest School – meeting our guardian tree, exploring the forest and particularly climbing the trees!
Mud Faces
We got our hands dirty and created some fantastic mud faces. We definitely have some budding artists in P7!
Den Building
Look at the fantastic dens we created with our loose parts! We used teamwork, creativity and had to get resourceful to create separate spaces for cooking and relaxing.
P7b having fun outdoors.

Catholic Education Week
Catholic Education Week this year is based focussed on Celebrating and Worshipping.
P6B have been having discussions about what we can celebrate regularly in our Catholic Faith.
We also looked back on some of the celebrations that Jesus was involved in including the Wedding in Cana, where Jesus performed a miracle by turning water into wine.
P6 wrote newspaper articles about this event.
