In P.E the boys and girls have been leaning about golf . This week they used the loose parts to create their own crazy golf hole – they really used their creativity and teamwork to make some amazing crazy golf challenges ! Well done P3b !
Primary 3 have been learning all about Global Goal 11: Sustainability . They designed and then created their own Eco-Robots , that could pick up and recycle rubbish and even plant trees! Amazing creativity ,teamwork and engineering boys and girls !
Primary 3 had a WONDERFUL time at the Museum of Rural Life this week . They learned all about the animals and plants different foods come from , rode on the tractor , visited the animals on the farm and even played in the park ! ☀️😄
Primary 3 have been learning about how to write a narrative . We have been reading the book ‘The Twits’ by Roald Dahl . The boys and girls discussed and sorted the pictures into the correct order from Chapter 8 ‘Wormy Spaghetti.’ Then we had a lovely circle time outside in the sunshine !
Primary 3b have been learning all about 2D shape tessellation. They enjoyed creating their own tessellation patters using the Chromebooks , 2D shapes and exploring real life examples !
This week primary 3 have been exploring different emotions and strategies we can use if we feel angry or upset . They created their own short drama sketches showing examples of these emotions in real life scenarios .They were fantastic – we have some future movie stars !
To celebrate Earth Day and our learning about the Global Goals the boys and girls in Primary 3 worked together in a litter pick . They showed excellent team work to clean up rubbish from the playground . Well done boys and girls !
We kicked off the third term with a bang in P3b! We recalled our learning from before Easter with an Outdoor Maths Challenge . The boys and girls showed great teamwork , creativity and determination ! They showed wonderful examples of ‘Maths In The Real World !’ .
Primary 3b enjoyed looking at numbers before ,after and between to 1000! They worked through different active stations using their problem solving and creativity .
