Friday 15th November

Another busy day for everyone today. We started our morning with Problem Solving. Our groups got together to try different strategies and all found the answer to our Friday problem!

This afternoon we participated in Anti-Bullying week 2024. Our Equalities Representatives, Victoria and Callan were fantastic in leading us with other primary representatives to understand and appreciate the message that everyone should be treated with dignity, respect and the right to grow up free from bullying. Well done Victoria and Callan,

Primary 4b enjoyed another busy day at school.
They started off their morning up at the Forest where they played with their friends and learned how to tie their final knot on their ‘Make Your Mark’ passport.

After break they participated in a Music lesson in which they used their voices and musical instruments to explore sound, pitch and rhythm.

It was then time to start preparing for their next Information Report on Scottish Wildlife. They worked in pairs to find information on various animals. They will now use this information to plan and create their reports.

Thursday 7th November

This morning Primary 4b completed their information reports on trees. This was a tricky task but the children all worked very hard to choose and organise information from their plan.
After break we continued with our study on 3D objects. Today we were using concrete objects to identify properties such as corners, edges and faces.
This afternoon we finished our work on the ‘catastrophe scale’ by taking part in a Drama lesson. Each group were tasked with performing a scenario to their peers before deciding where it would land on the catastrophe scale.
An extremely busy and productive day P4b. Mrs Murphy ☺️
