We were so excited to get back to Forest School this week. We worked on listening to each other and taking turns. We recapped on being safe in the forest and learned how to be safe climbing trees. 🌳

We challenged ourselves in our new numeracy and maths targets.
Inspired by the picture book Jeremy Worried About the Wind we discussed our worries .We played a mirror game where we told our partners our worries and they drew them in a worry bubble and used adjectives to describe them.

This week we have been learning about tribes in the rainforest. We also made musical instruments, rain sticks to transport ourselves to the rainforest! Thank you to all our families who donated materials to make this happen!
Today we enjoyed a very fun fitness session with our active school coordinators; Greg and Emma. The boys are girls demonstrated determination to improve their fitness during the circuits.
A big thank you to the digital leaders for showing us how to use the Tolkr app and giving us fun tasks! The boys and girls quickly gained confidence in using the app and created amazingly funny avatars.
This week we have been learning more about the rainforest!
Emily presented an excellent poster she made at home to teach us all about sloths.
We learned lots about the layers of the rainforest and this afternoon we made the layers! I am sure you’ll agree the boys and girls did an excellent job to build a model of the rainforest together!
