Today to we celebrated language week by inviting Mrs Anwar into our class to teach us more about Urdu, we learned the alphabet and how to write our names!
Thank you boys and girls for teaching us how to greet each other in a language you learn at home.
Our class have been given the Urdu badge, today we have been greeting other by saying Assalam- u -alikum.
We are excited for a week of celebrating languages week!

Jubilee Year Launch!
Today we celebrate the launch of the jubilee year. We have been writing about what makes us hopefully for this year.
We also created a Chinese lantern and learned to write Happy New Year in Chinese celebrate the Lunar new year and found out about traditions to celebrate. 🏮

Return To Forest School

We have been discussing what makes someone inspirational and have done lots of activities around people in our lives who are inspirational. To kick off our topic we researched the famous Scottish inventor , John Logie Baird. We created super fact files and discovered he was the first inventor of the television, The Baird Televisor so we decided to create a model of the first TV!
Christmas Code Along
We have had a wonderful day exploring lots of interesting technology! We made the polar express, digital decorations and manipulated robots.
Ranger Reni
Today we have been so lucky to be visited by Ranger Reni from the Dams to Darnley Country Park. He built on what we have learned about fathers Scottish Rainforest and told us more about the plants, trees and animals living so close by us in the country park as well as in our playground!
