Parent/ Carer Meetings
As outlined in our Calendar of Events, our upcoming Parent/Teacher Meetings will take place on Tuesday 4th and Thursday 6th November between 4pm and 7pm. Bookings will be via the ParentsPortal system – If you have not yet registered please do so as soon as possible using the following link. https://parentsportal.scot/pportal/
Appointments can be booked by the first named contact on this system. Bookings will open on Monday 6th October in the morning between 9 and 10am. Please note – due to the workings of the system, class appointment times are released one at a time so please allow the office time to release the appointments within this hour.
If you have more than one teacher to see, please allow enough time to travel between each of your appointments to ensure everything can run on time as much as possible- thank you.
If you experience any issues with booking your appointment, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
Support Resources for Parents
The “Support for Parents” page on our website offers a comprehensive selection of resources to assist families in East Renfrewshire. These resources cover various aspects of family life, from financial support to emotional wellbeing and serves as a valuable hub for parents seeking assistance and information to support their families.
Chatter Café
All nursery and school parents and carers are very welcome to come along to our Chatter Café on Wednesday 8th October from 9:15am until 10am in our school Hub. This is an extremely informal opportunity to chat to members of the Leadership Team and to meet other parents and carers to share your thoughts and ideas about any aspect of Netherlee life! You’ll also be able to enjoy some tea, coffee and delicious home baking, made and served by a group of pupils too! Please do pop in if you can- we really look forward to seeing you.
House Reward
We are excited to announce that the House winner for Term One is the Blue House – congratulations to all Blue House children! House points are awarded for displaying our school values: courage, compassion, respect, responsibility, fairness and friendship. As a reward to say well done, we are going to celebrate with a Games Afternoon on Friday 3rd October. There will be a mix of board games, party games and team games and also a chance to challenge their friends on the PlayStation or Nintendo Switch! Children should wear their normal school uniform that day but can wear a self-coloured blue House T- shirt instead of their shirt or polo shirt, if they would like.
Head Lice
It is always a good idea to periodically check your child’s head for any little creepy crawlies. We have lots of useful information on this in our website so please click this link if it would be of help to you.

Williamwood High School Art and Design Department Fashion Show
The Art and Design Department at Williamwood are hosting their Fashion Show on Tuesday 7th October 2025. They have invited pupils at the cluster primary schools to create a piece of artwork that they can wear and then come along on the night and wear it on the catwalk. This is an optional activity that should be completed at home and only if parents/carers are happy to attend with the pupils on the 7th October. They are able to work on their own or as part of a pair / small group.
If your child is going to participate, they should go to Williamwood High School on the 7th October for 5pm where staff and senior pupils will be there to meet them. Please note, there must be an adult to stay with them for the duration of the time that they are at Williamwood. The Fashion Show itself starts at 6pm.
