All parents and carers of children at Netherlee Primary School or Netherlee Nursery Class are warmly welcomed at parent council meetings. Parent Council meetings will take place at the school at 7pm on the dates below:

Wednesday 4th June 2025 (includes Annual General Meeting)

Scottish Schools (Parental Involvement) Act 2006.
This act makes provision for all parents to be members of the Parent Forum at a school, and to have their views represented to the school, Education Authority and others, through a representative Parent Council for the school.
The Act aims to help all parents to:
- Be involved with their child’s education and learning
- Be active participants in the life of the school
- Promote contact between school, parents/carers
- Be involved in the appointment of senior school staff
- Fundraise for the school
In this current session the following parents hold key posts:

- Michelle Borland & Rory McCoy – Communications
